| General Gross Description: • Bluish red mass • Spongy, soft, may be pulsatile in situ |
| General Microscopic Description: • Mass of blood vessels which may be capillary, arterial, venous or vessels with characteristics of both arteries and veins • Thrombosis and recanalization may be present |
| Clinical Correlations: • Discovered incidentally or when spontaneously rupture resulting in hemorrhage • Curable with resection or embolization |
