End User License Agreement 1. License Grant: You are granted a nonexlusive license to use one copy of the The eAtlas of Pathology for your own personal use purposes on a single computer. You can not place the eAtlas of Pathology, or any of it images and/or describtions on a Network for multi-user use without obtaining a special multiuser network license for that purpose. You can not distribut by internet, extranet, nor intranet technology. 2. Ownership: All of the matterial on the eAtlas of Pathology CD-ROM is protected by Copyrights. The Copyright to the hypertext markup language and Javascript, and the screens produced by said scripts, are owned by Richard R. Lindquist, who retains all rights to said scripts and the creen outputs generated by said scripts. The Copyright to the Computer program, DB2HTMLGEN, that generated many of hypertext markup language pages of the eAtlas of Pathology CD-ROM from database entries is owned by Richard R. Lindquist and was licenced on a per CD-ROM basis for the production of the eAtlas of Pathology CD-ROM. The Copyrights to the image descriptions and disease discussions are owned by the indivivual authors of said descriptions and discussions. Copyrights to individual images are owned by the individual or entity contributing the individual images. 3. Resrictions On Use and Transfer: You may not make copies of the CD-ROM on any other storage device regardless of the storage technology. You may not rent or lease the CD-ROM. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the CD-ROM or any of its contents through any network system, or through any computer subscriper service, bulletin board system, intranet, internet, or extranet system. You may not distribute the contents of the CD-ROM by the World Wide Web. You may not modify, adapt or create derivative works based on the CD-ROm or on the computor programs generating the CD-ROM. 4. Limited Warranty: The eAtlas of Pathology CD-ROM is offered "as is" and without warranties as to performance of merchantability or any other warranties whether expressed or implied. 5. Remedies: The entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be limited to the your purcase price paid for the CD-ROM. In no event will the copyright owners be liable for ANY damages whatsoever arising out of the use of or inability to use the CD-ROM, even if the copyright owners have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
