Hodgkins Disease - Nodular Sclerosis
Hodgkins Disease - Nodular Sclerosis

Low power view of a field from a lymph node with Hodgkins disease.
Towards the center of this field is a large bi-nucleate cell with prominent nucleoli.
This is a characteristic Reed-Sternberg cell.
The characteristic features in this field, aside from the Reed-Sternberg cell, include the lack of defined lymph node architecture and the presence predominantly of lymphocytes.
