Acute Posterior-Septal Myocardial Infarct
Acute Posterior-Septal Myocardial Infarct

View of superior surfaces of transverse sections with anterior surfaces facing towards the left.
Note the focus of mottled tan grey discoloration in the junction of the posterior IV septum and the posterior wall of the left vantricle.
The foci of small grey discoloration are probably old scars, in the midst of an acute infarct.
The focal linear thin subendocardial grey white discolorations in the left ventricle, and the same patchy process in the right ventricle are old scars.
