Note the poorly defined areas of tan discoloration in the anterolateral wall and interventricular septum (3 black arrows). Note also the circumferential subendocardial gray change seen best in the trabeculae carnae (2 white arrows). This is classical subendocardial scarring due to countless confluent healed microinfarcts occurring with attacks of angina pectoris.
