Acute Myocardial Infarct
Acute Myocardial Infarct

Transverse sections positioned such that anterior surfaces face leftward and view is looking down at top of head.
This is an anterolateral infarct touching on the anterior aspect of the interventricular septum.
Note the discrete margins, the light tan focally hemorrhagic coloration, and the transmural extent in the larger section at the junction of the anterior and lateral walls.
