extending from above down from the top edge of the
image to the bottom, just to your left of the midline
of the image. This is a probe passing through a
hidden perforation of the non-coronary cusp of the
valve. Perforation is hidden by a red coarsely granular
vegetation on the valve cusp, which extends across the
probe. The portion of the adjoining cusp on your right
is the left coronary cusp with a portion of the
anterior mitral valve leaflet just below it.
