Meningomyelocele •Infant with large lumbar skin covered sac containing meninges and parts of an abnormal lumbar spinal cord. •The head is also enlarged because this lesion is often accompanied by hydrocephalus. •The skin covered sac became ulcerated and the patient died of a meningitis.
