Spinal Cord Infarct
Spinal Cord Infarct

The specimens consist of sections of spinal cord showing varying degrees of hemorrhage and infarction.
These usually occur in the thoracic cord due to its poor vascularization, with total infarction of one segment and lesser degrees in upper and lower segments as can be seen here.
