| Metastatic carcinoma to brain
| The specimen of brain coronally sectioned through the
corpus striatum shows two discrete masses, one at the
cortical medullary junction and one in the internal
capsule.
The mucoid material in the center of the lesions
suggests the metastases may be from an adenocarcinoma.
