Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (High Power) • This a portion of a duct containing intraductal carcinoma. • The neoplastic cells are confined to the duct by the basement membrane (black arrows). • The neoplastic cells are monotonous with round to oval nuclei and little pleomorphism (white arrows). • The cell borders are well demarcated (yellow arrows) unlike benign duct proliferations when the cells pile up on top of each other.
