Intraductal Carcinoma (Medium Power) • The blue arrows point to the basement membrane of a large duct that is completely filled by intraductal carcinoma (aka ductal carcinoma in situ). • The cells filling the duct are monotonous and monomorphic. • At higher power they show features of malignancy. • The adjacent stroma contains scattered lymphocytes. • No myoepithelial cells can be seen.
