Mechanical destruction of tissue.,
Epidemiology

General Gross Description

Incision or stab with a blade results in clean margins that usually can be easily approximated.
General Microscopic Description

Tissue disruption and hemorrhage.
Clinical Correlation

Related to loss of blood and damage to vital structures.
