Small Cell Carcinoma of Lung (Low Power) • This is a very low power view of a small cell carcinoma. • Note the dense cellularity which shows profound hyperchromasia (deep blue staining). • The neoplastic cells are arranged in a sheet with occasional intervening fibrous tissue (arrows). • At this power these could be lymphocytes or a variety of small cell malignancies.
