Nasal Angiofibroma (Cut Surface) • This is a view of the interior of an angiofibroma. • The surface is quite smooth, tan and firm. • A single focus of cystic degeneration is seen with a smooth lining. • The right side, representing the portion of the lesion which was closest to the nares, is discolored black. • This probably represents focal hemorrhage.
