Normal Spleen
Normal Spleen

A medium power view of normal spleen.
The yellow arrow points to the arteriole that courses through the spleen, surrounded by a cuff of lymphoid tissue.
Notice the typical eccentric location of this sleeve of lymphocytes.
Between adjacent white pulp zones is the more reddish colored red pulp of the spleen.
