• There are several thyroid follicles containing eosinophlic, acellular colloid.
• The follicular epithelium has small, round dark nuclei and modest amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm.
• No nuclear atypia or mitotic activity is seen.
• These follicles are indistinguishable from normal thyroid.
