Nephrolithiasis And Pyelonephritis

This kidney has been bivalved. The entire calyceal system and pelvis was occupied by a single continuous calculus. The calculus was molded by the luminal calvity of the pelvis and calyces (staghorn calculus).
The calculus is seen in situ with the right half of the kidney.
