Idiopathic RPGN
Idiopathic RPGN

The photograph shows a glomerulus with a cellular crescent.
The crescent shape proliferation of cells in the urinary space is largely composed of epithelial cells.
The glomerular tuft is compressed towards the vascular pole on the left.
The implication of a cellular crescent is that the glomerulus has sustained acute intense injury.
