Note the brownish color of the normal liver parenchyma
and the white-tan color of the tumor deposit.
Note that the center of the tumor deposit appears
depressed.
This is because the tumor growth often out-strips the
vascular supply.
This results in necrosis of cells at the center of the
nodule.
