| Focal Nodular Hyperplasia
| A close-up view of a nodule of focal nodular
hyperplasia of the liver.
The lesion is an irregular solitary nodule in the liver.
Towards the very center of the cut surface, especially
towards the right of this image, one can notice a
central area, where the coloration is clearly different
from the rest of the nodule.
This is the characteristic central scar with radiating
arms to the rest of the lesion.
