Metastatic Colonic Adenocarcinoma

Cut surface of the liver showing deposits of metastatic adenocarcinoma.
Towards the top of this image, an obvious lesion is seen replacing part of the liver parenchyma
It is reddish-brown deposit of metastatic tumor with some hemorrhage.
Notice as well, the smaller lesion indicated by the white arrow which has the same appearance as the larger nodule.
Metastatic nodules in the liver tend to be multiple.
