Crohns Disease (10X) • This low power view shows a region of granulomatous inflammation. • A single multinucleated giant cell with peripherally disposed nuclei stands out at this power, although other multinucleated giant cells are present. • Other cells present are mononuclear histiocytes and lymphocytes. • Around the central granuloma are scattered lymphocytes and increased fibrous tissue.
