| Arnold Chiari Malformation
| The specimen consists of part of the brainstem and the
spinal cord with cerebellar tonsil extending along the
cervical cord.
The Arnold Chiari malformation is due to a shift of inferior
cerebellum and spinal cord through the foramen Magnum.
It is often associated with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
