Hydrocephalus
Hydrocephalus

Hydrocephalus is due to an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles.
This occurs when flow out of ventricles or subarachnoid space is blocked.
Due to their pliable skulls, neonates develop enlarged heads when hydrocephalus occurs.
