| A low power view of an osteosarcoma.
Even at this power, the extreme cellularity and
pleomorphism of this tumor can be readily appreciated.
It is also obvious that the cells appear to vary
enormously in size.
The yellow-orange arrow towards the center of this
image points to an area of eosinophilic homogeneous
appearance.
This is a fragment of malignant osteoid.
Deposition of osteoid and other matrix components is
typical of an osteosarcoma.
