The blood vessels are separated by each other by a delicate septum composed of fibrous connective tissue (marked by an asterisk).
Separating the red blood cells (marked by the green arrows) is a single layer of endothelium (marked by the black arrow).
Some crowding of endothelial cells is seen in this field.
However, this lesion is benign and represents a developmental defect.
