Normal Skeletal Muscle
Normal Skeletal Muscle

Medium power view of a bundle of muscle fibers in skeletal muscle.
The multiple black arrows surround a single muscle fiber.
Notice that the cell is a roughly polygonal cell in cross-section
Numerous dark staining dots, which represent the nuclei are seen towards the periphery of this cell.
Notice the uniformity of appearance of these muscle fibers in this cross-section and the absence of nuclei in the centers of the cells.
